The Eastern Sierra offers some of the best color in California with alpine like settings and some of the highest peaks in the lower 48 states. The Sierra color is primarily photographed in the Buttermilk Country Wildlife Area west of Bishop with Mt Humphreys, Basin Mtn, and Mt Tom in the backgrounds.
