Taken with a 500 mm lens in mid afternoon, the primary focusing was on the duck. However, the green coloring of the water and position of reflections really sets up the image. Additional photographs taken a little later had an orange cast due to the sunset and the reflections didn't quite have the same affect.
From the shore, the duck pond looked fairly dark and not particularly photogenic. There has been no color correction to the image. This is one of the few situations where the captured image looked better than actually being there.
