I once overheard a race enthusiast question

why most images of race cars looked like they

were standing still. Good point. 

 My goal is to use the appropriate shutter speed and panning technique to capture the spinning 

of the wheels while freezing the motion of the

race car.

For the 3rd year in a row, Sebastian Bourdais wins the LBGP in the best looking champ car on the track in Long Beach.

   The race weekend has become an "event" and includes Lemans, Toyota Lights, and Speed GT.

In good old fashion Long Beach Grand Prix style, pole sitter S. Bourdais led most of the race.

Often referred to as "The Beach", the race takes place on Long Beach Streets

Bryan Herta won the Honda Grand Prix of Monterey for a second year in a row.  The race is 83 laps on a  2.238 miles track  

Road America is truly a race car driver's road course.   The track is 4.048 miles of perfection.
