Introductory Concept:

Batch correct and resize a large number of images for rapid upload to the internet.

         1.  PHOTO MECHANIC ... view and delete worthless images

         2.  UPSHOT ... rapidly correct and resize images to JPEG.

(Will automatically create its own subdirectories.)

         3.  DOT ... upload to photo sharing site

(all processing should take place in "DUMP" directory to save space in "LIBRARY")

UPSHOT      (batch processing and resizing to JPEGs)

Upshot creates sub-directories:

     1.  Copies the original images to a new sub directory.

     2.  Creates edited images in a separate new sub directory.

     3.  Creates edited thumbs in a separate new sub directory

     E: \ DUMP \ Bellamax ...

                -  proxy   (contains enhanced & original JPEG files)

                -  script   (program instructions)

                -  thumbs  (much smaller JPEG files)

Directions:

     1.  Open Upshot

     2.  Under "My Computer Tab"

               -  select subdirectory under DUMP directory to edit ... ADD  (indexes files)

     3.  Under "Upshot Photos Tab"

               b.  BRIGHTNESS & CONTRAST ... NO ... b=5 / c=2 / s=2

               c.  EXPORT ... IMAGE SIZE ... CUSTOM ... 450

               d.  select directory..."Football\xxx\Bellamax\proxy\enhanced"...EXPORT

               e.  FILE ... EXIT ... YES ... NO

Dimension/Compression Results:

(Files located at:  DUMP \ Football \ xxx \ Bellamax \ proxy \ enhanced)
