Objective:

     Professional appearing portraits with some wave/cave action in La Jolla.

Actual Conditions:

     Early morning overcast, no real fog but flat light.

Strategy:

     Used a bright silver reflector to light the subject.  preferred tight shots with limited but obvious backgrounds of waves or caves.

Post Capture Process:

 1. STRAIGHTEN image:                 (eye drop/measure tool...drag ruler...image...rotate...arb)

 2. CROP the image:                       5" x 7" perspective

 3. SPOT image with clone tool:

 4. DODGE & BURN using Curves:  (image...adj...curves...bend curve) (history brush)

 5. COLOR CORRECTION:

         I Correct Portrait                          (Plugin)

 6. POP - High Pass Filter              (layer...dup layer...filter...other...high pass...hard light...flatten)

 7. GRAIN reduction:                      (layer...dup layer...filter...Kodak Dig Gem ...flatten)  (twice?)

 8. SHARPEN -                                       (none performed)

 9. Image...adjust...CONTRAST       (CONTRAST +3)

10.Image...adjust...BRIGHTNESS   (BRIGHTNESS +3)

11.RESIZE - thumbnail                         (file...automate...save as ...jpg... 96pxl-jpg) (no save for web)
