Deer Grazing - 1 |

|
I recently switched from a side pack to a rolling backpack due the increased weight of the equipment I was carrying. One of the lenses I can now take with me on a regular is the a 500mm F4. On my first time out, I spotted several deer in a meadow at Descanso Garden in La Canada.
Upon spotting the deer from a distance, I quickly mounted the 500 on a tripod and began to approach taking photos as I got closer. As the deer moved around, the objective is to capture images with the deer interacting with the light.
The photograph was taken with a 500mm F4 lens, on a CF tripod with ISO 400 negative film.
