Winter Pink Rose
Late fall to early winter is a good time in SoCal to scavenge gardens for minute but interesting bits of beauty. The image above is kind of eclectic but my main goal was to capture the light rays penetrating the almost translucent rose. In this case, lighting was everything. Without it, this rose was just a dying flower in a large rose garden ravaged by the onslaught of winter.
