This month's image was taken at Sherman Gardens in Newport Beach, CA.. January and February are a good time to photograph both hot house orchids and outdoor cymbidiums. The garden and library is a real hidden treasure off of the Pacific Coast Highway.
The image was taken with a 300 mm F4 micro lens in manual mode with a 12.4 megapixel DSLR on carbon fiber tripod.
