Just west of
Bishop lies some incredibly beautiful terrain little known to
the public but highly appreciated by local residents.
Capturing the beauty of Buttermilk Country in the Eastern
Sierras is quite a challenge. After a mild dusting of
snow in autumn, the beauty of the aspen against the peaks is
simply stunning.
The 4 stitched images were
photographed with a 28-70 F2.8 zoom lens on 12 megapixel full
frame body. I also used a 2 stop soft graduated neutral
density filter. This accessory really makes the difference in
the outcome of the final image.
