Photographs of
seagulls taken in their summer plumage are the most common
images of seagulls. Example photographs are typically captured
at the beach against a white sand and blue sky back drop. I
have found that seagulls are just as beautiful, if not more
so, in their winter plumage in January. The image was taken with a 80-400 VR zoom, hand held using ISO 400 film. As the gull flew over me, I was able to capture the bird flying towards a break in nearby trees. To view additional images, click here.
