Just some
questions that anyone who supports a particular selected
political position ought to be able to answer effectively:
-
If you were
"for" the war in Iraq, why are you against increasing taxes?
On
a full cost accounting basis, this war has already cost over
$1 trillion and will cost hundreds of billions more taking
care of the injured soldiers for decades after the war ends.
How did you think the war was going to be paid for? We
previously had plenty of experience in Viet Nam.
-
If you are a
devout Christian who believes in the writings of the New
Testament, how can you be against healthcare and insuring an
additional 40 million Americans?
There are a multitude of stories of Jesus helping the poor
and ill in the Bible. Didn't Jesus
kick the money changers out of the Temple!
